A teaspoon is not a tablespoon

the past few days of ruffles, subway & macs has brought me down.
i am down with flu :/
anyway i went ahead baking with the sis.
first, blueberry muffins.
- mixture 1: 2 eggs, 250ml milk, 60ml melted butter
- mixture 2: 350ml plain flour, 3 teaspoons of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons white sugar
- mixture 3: 250ml of blueberries, 60ml plain flour, 120ml sugar
- add mixture 1 to 2, stir
- add mixture 3 to combined 1&2, fold the mixture
- preheat oven at 190c, bake for 20min, makes 16
lazy to take pictures so this is my final mixture:
some things to take note is that a tablespoon is not a teaspoon T_T
so i ended up putting too much baking powder and salt.
melted butter is COMPLETELY melted as in liquid form, not semi-solid form, we screwed up the first mixture and had to redo it.
if you’re using canned blueberries like i did, drain the juice first.
first batch was kinda burnt
2nd batch kinda out of shape T_T
last batch
muffins turned out tasting a little weird but edible.
you put it into your mouth and you’ll go ohh blueberries:) and suddenly this salty taste comes and 
the texture is kinda like huat kueh, i think its the excess baking powder :/
i didn’t think it was sweet enough so i think i’ll add more sugar.
maybe i’ll try again, maybe.

cheesecake was done by sis but i know abit because i was helping her prepare the ingredients.
- crust: digestive biscuits, melted butter, sugar
- 450ml cream cheese, 450ml sour cream, 240ml sugar, vanilla essence, 4 eggs
too little butter therefore the crust is not hard enough.
top part of cheesecake is kinda hard but i like the centre part which is creamy like custard

sherlock holmes was a movie which got me a little worried about my standard of english.
what i remember most about the movie is jude law’s beautiful face.

i went into the theater knowing nothing about the show but came out satisfied
i guess the trailer summarizes the whole movie.
maybe because of my love for fantasy-like stories, i loved it as much as i loved pan’s labyrinth.
i love it how the blue people does this cheetah mouth-like actionsound.
and their super weird dance under the eiwa tree.
and if you notice they have glitter on their nose omg so cool.
the most epic moment would be when this kid behind me goes EWW when blue princess & jake kiss. HAHAHA.
and the most ironic part would be when blue princess tells jake to leave for betraying her trust but when he comes riding on the leonopteryx (toruk) which only can be ridden by godly people, she goes straight into his arms and said “i was scared”.
when i asked jj if all girls were like that he said, yes when i have no money you’ll leave me and when i get my car and money you’ll come back hahaha.
though the movie was close to 3 hours, time went by better than watching 2012.
and even though i don’t fancy eurasians, jake was so hot and why did trudy have to die T_T
